Privacy

Short version: we don't collect your answers, we don't set cookies, and there is no account.

Your answers stay in your browser

The calculation runs on your device. Your postcode, usage and other answers are not sent to us or to anyone else. To work out your result, your browser downloads public data files from this site: sunshine for your area, typical household patterns and the postcode list. Those files are the same for everyone, but which ones your browser asks for shows a rough area (a sunshine cell about 50 km across) and whether someone is usually home in the day. We don't log those requests; our host may, as below.

No cookies, no tracking

We set no cookies and run no advertising or tracking scripts. If we measure visits, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Our host

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles your IP address to deliver the pages, and may keep short-lived logs for security.

Links to sellers

When you follow a link to a seller, their site and its own privacy policy apply. Affiliate links let the seller know you came from us.
